Funny because I thought some of their anti-authority lyrics can be read to scream against the unchecked authority asserted by dems in recent years. Not that they'd read them in such a way - libs by definition lack self-awareness, the arrogance and arbitrariness of their central planning schemes almost always guarantees they erroneously believe they're the smartest person in the room. I think the hate mostly stems from 1) their really pitiful teen angst songs and 2) the white guy rapper verse in every song. Songs like "Breaking the Habit" are pretty much written for emo little 12 year olds, and 311 was pretty lame so I don't know why a band that's reasonably creative and decent with their electronics would dirty the music with an Eminem wannabe.
