One of our company's employees just came back to tell me that he took a call from a customer who was "extreemly upset" over recieving one of our catalogs in the mail. The reason why this upset them?

Because this person is a self described "tree hugger" and they find it very offensive that we use so much paper in our catalog and kill so many trees to send these out.

I told the employee he should tell them to do the earth a favor and stop breathing to help reduce the amount of carbon dioxide they are putting into the air.

Send them an apology in the form of another catalog.

Post the customers address.  I will send them a very lengthy letter of appology.    In triplicate.  Twice.   Sent person to person, signature required.  I want to be sure there is a paper trail, so I know they got it.
