I think it was supposed to be funny. I didn't get it at first. If you read the quotes on the cards objectively, they aren't funny. If you are a sarcastic liberal on the other hand, I guess maybe they would be. Seems pretty stupid.

I heard the creator of this crap interviewed on a radio talk show yesterday. She is quite serious and just happens to be a teacher at a catholic high school.
She was ranting, angry and the epitomy of a pointy headed academic elitist.
