I'm a staunch Republican.
Jimmy Carter cannot speak, but is a brilliant writer. I'm not kidding. Read some of his essays and books. He's not stupid, but gets caught up in something and makes horrible decisions. There is a big difference in being smart and being a leader. IMHO |

Jimmy Carter, a man who has a master's degree in nuclear physics.
He pronounces it nu-q-ler, and he didn't think the Strategic Defense Initiative (Star Wars) would work. Wrong on both accounts. A hardcore socialist is what he is. And an embarassment to the entire country when he opens his big yap and says that we need UN election oversight . |

Carter amazes me.
He did some of the STUPIDEST decisions while president, and yet he is 'revered' as a elder statesman. I mean, come on, during the cold war he wants to pull all our troops out of South Korea? What was he smoking? Peanut pot? Gave away the Panama Canal?? Gimme a break. I was a kid while he was president, so I missed some of his foulups until I was older and read more about him. But even as a kid, I thought he was a moron. |
