Ok, now I'm not exactly the "christmas" kind of guy. In fact, I'm usually the biggest scrooge anyone would want to meet.

But my wife loves christmas, and has worn me down to some degree.

Well, since we've met (ten years ago), we've never had a tree. On top of my scroogy attitude, I always felt they were a fire hazard.

Well this year, she came across this girly faux tree.

And it made her so happy.

And that made me happy.

And I can't in all honesty say that it didn't make me feel a bit "festive". I guess I'm not the scrooge that I once was.

Anyway here is a pic:

Anyone else feel like posting pics of their tree this year?

We don't have one here (at my parents') because there are young cats who would destroy it.

We have one where I live because I have a festive roommate.  Honestly, it's put me in more of a festive mood, too, somehow.

I've never been a big Christmas person, either before or after becoming a Christian.  I don't really care for the secularization and commercialization of the holiday.
