I have a buddy that has two long slide glocks. One in 9 the other in 40. I've never seen them anywhere else!! guess that is considered a race gun

Wow, talk about a "way-back machine" - I present this ...
... One of my first race-guns before I realized there was noting practical about "Practical Pistol" - Before I knew any better, I butchered up this once-new Gold Cup. never had the heart to throw it away. All in all, she brought me many great moments of shooting quasi-competition steel matches in the 80's. ... crappy pic attached

Here's my STI. Since this pic was taken the slide has been lightened a bit and a new comp(EGW 7port) was installed.
Yes there is a screw missing from the mount, that was drilled and tapped during the last bit of work.   Here's my old Para .38 Super with the newer STI. The Para was a Comander lenght slide with a 3 port comp. Everything old is new again! The latest fad is the shortie Open gun, we did that already, back in the early '90's.
