You ANIMAL Doctors you, on Canine Cataract Surgery... almost NO info on this subject across the WWW - where is it being performed? Success? Cost? My sweet dog, Petie, has grown a bad pair and we would consider this for him if we could get more info.

TIA

Edited: Called my VET, they give me number to call "local". I call referral. They tell me I need a "REFERRAL called in" from my VET to schedule an appoint with this SPECIALIST, then he evaluates, decides YAY/NAY, then only then do I hear news of cost, I EVALUATE, then I schedule appointment. Then procedure happens, recoup, ... jeez all I wanted to know was the fricken price and success rate!!! DOCTORS - heh.

Try searching for "Canine Cataracts". I came up with about 3000 hits. Here are a few. Your vet's office would be the place to find out where to have surgery performed and the costs. Hope this helps, Cougar http://cvm.msu.edu/courses/AP/cataract/Canine%20Cataracts.doc http://www.cvm.uiuc.edu/petcolumns/showarticle.cfm?id=340 http://www.gooddogmagazine.com/9909/cataracts.htm http://www.pettribune.com/2000/070100/feature.html
