Having Donald Trump as President of the United States of America is a gazillion times better than having Hillary Clinton in the job.
Sure, some people might think he could do things better, and some people might think he should lay off the twitter and some people might be unhappy with choices and decisions he has made, Was he my first choice? No. Do I think he's perfect? No. But I fucking VOTED FOR HIM because I could not accept the damage that Hillary Clinton could do to this great nation if she were elected, and I am super-happy that he is president and she is not. Just by virtue of NOT BEING HILLARY CLINTON, he has met my expectations. By appointing Gorsuch to SCOTUS, and not some Kagan-Sotomayor gun-hating anti-constitution asshole that Hillary would have appointed, he has already paid rich dividends. That is already enough for me, and I am thrilled. Despite our differing opinions on Trump, let's at least all agree that he is much, MUCH, MUCH better than Hillary, and we are lucky we dodged that poisonous bullet. Let's keep the big picture in mind, and focus our bickering on chili and the SIG 320. |

I knew you were Danish army but I didn't know also US Army. Or I'm misreading your 16x individual tags. |

generally i agree with this.
im extremely disappointed by congress, but im still standing behind my pres. the alternative would have been unbearable. even if she would have been a one term pres, that's still (probably at this point) 2+ SC seats and god knows what liberal legislation, since she likely would have brought some lib senators and congressmen with her. that would have been pretty much game over for us, especially since some rino like rubio would have defeated her and done nothing in the way of a conservative agenda or undoing anything she did. |
|
I also agree.
Though I'm sure there are those who have well thought out and articulate reasons that do not. *waits patiently and stares at OP's honeypot* |

Can't find anything wrong with that statement.
Now, is a GOP controlled Congress better than a Dem one? That remains up for debate. |
|
He wasn't my first choice in the primaries and I'm embarrassed about it.
He was best choice of anyone who declared they were running for POTUS and he's excellent. |

There should be 100% agreement on this forum. Anyone who disagrees needs to be banned, period. You have to be mentally ill to buy into the Democrat media's talking points or believe Antifa and BLM represent justice.
Sadly, the god damn Repunlican Party can't even agree on this simple point. God help us all... |

Exactly. Hillary would have stacked the court, and the 2nd amendment would have been gutted. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Gorsuch. Need I say more? Hillary would have stacked the court, and the 2nd amendment would have been gutted. Hopefully he'll be able to appoint a few more! |

We needed Hillary to win so she could be held accountable though

That is already enough for me, and I am thrilled. View Quote Few of you young'uns (I'm 61) can appreciate just what this election did for us. I've steadily watched our 2nd Amendment rights eroded since I got my first gun 32 years ago; things haven't gotten better since then until Trump took office. A Hillary presidency would have been the final nail in our 2nd Amendment rights, and for rights in general; we would have started a rather short slide into totalitarianism. I'm certain, for example, that she would have driven the Roman Catholic church, and other churches that oppose her, underground. Consider some of the other things she would have done just to undermine individualism: She would have outlawed home-grown vegetables and meat products-- under the guise of "They are not healthy because they haven't passed a government inspection." She would have mandated self-driving cars because "Americans obviously cannot be trusted with the controls of such murderous machines." |

He's not the president we want but he's the president we need.
He has forced the left to take off their masks and to show themselves as American hating communists and socialists. |
