On Thursay we had the anti-gun Senators claiming that the terrorist were buying guns without background checks, and wanted new laws, but then demanding the background check database be opened to see if they legally bougth guns. It can't be both ways. These are the same Senators who claim the Bush administration has gone too far in restricting civil rights. Then we had the media sensationalizing the Indiana shooting claiming 35 people shot with a a machine gun, when it was 5 people with a shotgun. Let's see if we can get Fox's O'Reilly to look into this and blast the media for their sensationalizing of the event and the Senators for playing both sides of an issue. If enough people contact O'Reilly, he will at least take notice. Hopefully he will do a story. Here is his email address. I've already sent mine in. oreilly@foxnews.com

O'Reilley would rather 'confront' Red Cross executives because he knows better than them how to do their jobs. Besides, Ole Bill is rather pro gun control.

How do you figure O'Reilly is for gun control? I haven't found any evidence of that. At the end of each show O'Reilly airs emails that he has received, so someone has to read the emails sent. He also has a column on WorldNetDaily.com which is mega conservative. If we flood him with emails between now and show at 11pm tonight. Maybe he will make a comment.

He sees nothing wrong with registration of all firearms. He sees nothing wrong with a total ban on all FA or Semi Military weapons. He supports mandatory trigger locks and storage requirements. He is in favor of the Brady Bill. He is in favor of closing the gun show loophole. Just like all populists, he thinks that the only reason people should own guns is for hunting or self defense. Bill is no conservative. He is a moral populist.
