I just put a "Bush/Cheney '04...Tom Coburn(Oklahoma Republican Candidate For Senate)" campaign sign out in my yard.

I live in a fairly Democratic part of east Tulsa known locally as "Little Mexico". My neighbor across the street put the same sign out yesterday. His is still up...so far.

We have a couple of Liberal knuckle-dragger union thug-types that live up the street from us who have "Kerry/Edwards" & "Brad Carson(Oklahoma Democrat Candidate for Senate)" in their yards.

I'm betting my & my neighbor's "Bush/Cheney" signs won't last a week...

Does it count here in Georgia if you just "wing" the sign-stealing liberals?

Drill a hole in it and tie some fishing string to it that has abunch of empty can's tied to it. You'll hear them take it.

The race between Carson and Coburn is going to be very tight.

Step 1: Buy a ORF Semi-auto 1919
Step 2: Set up a sandbag bunker with good sight to the sign
Step 3: Dress up like a WWII era US soldier
Step 4: Man your post

Watch them try to take it now.

Kerry/Edwards sign lasted almost 2 weeks in my neighborhood. And no, I did'nt have a cotton-pickin' thing to do with it being gone. They could have taken it down. I think they probably felt stupid being the only Kerry supporter with about 20 Bush/Cheney signs up and down the street. Not to mention the cars. Looks like a W headqaurters here.

There's a lot of sign stealing going on this election. It was on the news the other night and apparently there are far more Bush/Cheney signs being stolen than Kerry/Edwards.

Get some spider wire and tiny treble hooks and run them across the yard where the sign is.

sgtstinger,
Still Standing??

We had a similar case once w/ stolen yard signs.
We took small sowing pens and drove them through the top of the sign down to about about 4inchs you couldn't see the sewing pens unless you were really looking for them.
Two mornings later we noticed the sign was bent over a little bit but was still standing.
You dont know how bad we wanted to go door to door and shake every one of our neigbors hands.
Makes you wander where the term "Caught RED Handed" came from.

Seems like there are 50 to 1 Bush stickers opposed to kerry stickers here in Tulsa.
I have noticed about 5 to 1 ratio in yard signs.

We have them just pulled up and laid back down on the ground here. I guess they doen't want to handle the signs as much. Too lazy to carry them off.

*edit* the Game Tracker camera is a good idea. The flash would probably make them shit their pants!

There is a dude in my town who has a Bush/Quayle 92 sign in his yard.
