I proceeded to go over to my gym's 2nd location in town and do a 5x7 workout that evening.  135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 185, and 190.

No sled there as it is a smaller footprint, but I plan on adding 1/2 a "field" length to my warmups each week.

I love the convenience of my little garage set up but it definitely lacks the diversity of equipment at a real gym.  I probably need to get some sandbags and stuff to change up my routine.

When I signed up again at my gym back in 2021, it was merely to have access to a 180° sauna during the cold months here in Ky.

I use it to get loosened up before working out, and it is quite helpful when the lows are around 10° for a month straight.

You're doing some fantastic work, Jerryjeff.  Most people would not be thinking of adding sandbags to their routine, however you have this mindset that says "let's do more."

Saturday was a decent workout, with 700ft on the sled, followed by 5 reps on the flat bench at 135, 185, 205, 225, and 3 reps at 235.

Tonight will be more sled, tricep pushdowns, butterflies, and leg press.

Nice, you are in great shape heading into December.

I need to avg 490 per day for the rest of the year to hit 200K. Plan is to keep hitting 700 per day for the next month and then coast into Christmas.  That's the plan at least.

Glad to be back, hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving.

I went to the family camp for the long weekend, ate a bunch of terrible but delicious food and did some shooting and hunting.

I took two days off but got in my miles and push ups the other days.

At this point, I just need to knock out 700 reps for the next 25 days and I can slide into Christmas week with the goal of 200K behind me.

Let's all finish strong!

Getting back into the saddle this morning after a weekend largely off from pushups to spend some time with extended family.

Ate a ton, made 100lbs of venison and pork sausage over the weekend as well!

Time to put the nose to the grind stone and get this done.

nice.

feel free to join us with your progress at any time.

I'll be starting a new thread 01JAN2024.

Your numbers sound similar to how I'll be training.

I'm aiming for 1000+ pushups per week until I get to 50k next year.
