Still not 100% today, have  not passed the stone but it's not as bad as it was yesterday, hopefully back to normal manana.

3 miles, 700 push ups and an hour of light lifting to keep everything in working order.

Rock stars.  no pun intended

I finally got back to the gym today to get some incline bench and pullups done.

Work has been crazy and I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel at home.

5x5 pullups done.  188lbs on the scale this A.M.

5x5 on the incline bench from bar to 95, 115, 145, and 155.

Logged 1500 on Friday, but only 200 on Saturday; I spent all day Saturday digging a drain tile trench in my back yard, so by the time I was done with that doing pushups was on the bottom of my priority list.

But the good news is that I met my little stretch goal of ending sept with a daily average over 1,000/day, my average was 1,050/day, which I'm pretty proud of.

Then Sunday I was a bit sore but still pushed out another 900.

I should have checked the spreadsheet for a new YTD# but I didnt look. I know my daily requirement is ~508/day for 200k, so I've made myself a little breathing room there.

Keep the grind, boys!

It's hard to believe we've been keeping this going for 9 months, seems like we just kicked this off a few months ago.

Looks like a nice run to the finish, see you there.

I'm not so sure, I have a lot in the calendar for the last part of the year that's going to really bit into the amount of days I can really do work.

I'm not counting this one until it's done. Lots of work left to do.

Been a few days since I checked in, the grind continues.

Butterflies started at 205lbs and went to 235.

5 sets of 10.  205, 220, 225, 230, and 235.

Finally got to a squat rack tonight, and after what I estimate to be at least 17 years, I did some squats with a barbell across my shoulders.

To say I'm better at upper body workouts would be an understatement.

45, 95, and 115.  10 reps each.

I can definitely stay motivated for a few more months, but once I hit 200K my daily push up rate is going to be waaaaay lower.

Maybe it's time to think about the challenge for 2024 already.

I'm thinking about starting BJJ in the new year but at 60+ it may be a poor choice for a challenge.

Shoot for 50k for 2024, like I am.

A simple 250-300/day, max 4 days a week.

We should be able to bust those out in 15 minutes or less.

I'm going to try to.

I am aiming to keep 50 as my minimum per set and if I want to push a bit more that day, 60x5.

Got some back exercises done tonight at the gym.

5 sets of 20 lower back extensions with a 10lb plate held to my chest.

After that, I did 5 sets of rows with a 50lb dumbbell in each hand.  10 reps per side.

These workout changes have managed to add roughly 8lbs to me, and I'm typically hitting the scale in the A.M. at around 192.

I ate 4000 calories today.
