I know there is one on at gogogadgets.net but I was wondering if there were any other pistol grip replacements out there. I remember seeing one a while back that looked like a pistol grip, but I have not been able to find that link. - Dustin

I don't believe that any of the pistol grip replacements would pass muster in California under the new edicts from Osama bin Lockyer.

True enough, I'm doing a little research into building your own AR Style receiver. There may be a legal way of building a receiver. The field rep I talked to could not answer my question so he transfered me to his manager. He could not answer the question completely either, so I was transfered to to a specialist in firearms law over there. He was not there so I left a message. It sounds like if the receiver takes 100% AR15 parts then it's an AR15 receiver. So if you modify the lower receiver to take a custom upper you may have found a way out.
