Was looking at them yesterday at my local shooting supply.I have known the guy that works there for quite some time and he is skeptical on some matters pertaining to imports. He has always given solid advice and honesty even to the point of missing a sale to put the costumer on the right gun for the money.Anyway he told me they were made in brasil by rossi and that kind of sent up a red flag. The guy says he sells them to hunters as well as cowboy action shooters alike. The rifles he claims get rave reviews for handling reliability and are quite accurate.Anybody know anything?

My hunting partner bought one last spring in 454 casull for tree stand work, nice little carbine. A few weeks later the stock snapped in half, this can & does happen to other mfgs. I haven't heard any bad press on them at all, I elected to buy a Marlin 1894 in 44 mag. instead. Do what your comfortable w/ doing. Good luck !

I've got a Rossi in 45 Colt I'll sell you real cheap since I cant get it to run right at all.

Any idea of a good gunsmith to send it to?

I had one in .45 LC, it was reliable, accurate, and a hell of a lot of fun.
