I'll buy one if I can get it for $500 or less. I would get a real .30 cal carbine but I would have to travel 45 miles just to shoot it. I can shoot 9mm carbines at my local range all day long. Plus I have plenty of 9mm reloading components.

What is wrong with an original (or even commercial) M1 in .30 carbine? The.30 is much better than 9MM (both power and penetration wise). ^^^^ A voice of reason and wisdom right here. ^^^^ 7.62x25 would be a good choice as well. |

I hope they are built well. Last week we finally got one of Legacy's wood stock .22 M-1 carbines in. From a few feet away it is hard to tell it from a real .30 M-1. I looked it over closely and I was impressed with the quality of the finish and smooth action, but I haven't got to fire one yet. I wasn't. Now if it comes as faithful reproduction of the M1 in 9mm I am sold, especially if it takes 92FS mags, but if it takes glock mags I will go and buy some glock mags and a G19 later. Now if they have one with a Paratrooper stock

Make it in 9x23 Winchester, using 26 round .38 Super STI magazines.
Make own brass using 5.56 cases.....hopefully.

Would be neat, too bad it probably won't be well made and won't take Glock mags.

I'd probably be interested in this if I didn't have my beater Plainfield M1, but I do, so... eh.

Beretta 92 mags makes the most sense. Glock mags require a funky angle that would ruin the lines of the gun, and they're necessarily thick due to the polymer shell.

ARFCOM, you guys are weird, i started a thread on PCC's and you said they are worthless unless SBR's. now they make a fudd carbine and you guys are all over it? View Quote Because most of us wouldn't use it to clear our house with it. It'd just be cool to have. Additionally, some of us would buy one to hunt with. A 45, 10mm, or 357 model would be tits since some of us are limited to shotguns and thundersticks for deer. |

You guys can hope and dream all you want but this is a gun company. Whatever you ask for in this carbine they will produce the exact opposite.

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: An m1c in 5.56 = shutup and take my money. 9mm/.30 carbine are about the same, why not have an original as carbine ammo is not hard to find in my AO. No, not a mini14, a carbine in 5.56. A mini 14 has the same gas system as an M1 Carbine.... No they don't. Not even close. The M1 Carbine has a short stroke gas piston. The Mini-14 has a hollow piston affixed to the gas block. The slide has a cylinder bored out of the front that slides over the piston. (Over the years I've owned four Carbines and two Mini-14s.)

I have the same question about my 10mm, because I haven't managed to get it to a proper rifle range yet. |

Nope. Not NY Legal. Detachable mag + bayonet mount (and not 50 years old) = assault weapon. Would have to remove bayo lug...and get 10 round mags. |

Tag. I would be interested. Paratrooper folding stock Someday I will buy a real one!
