Reheat, eat cold, or discard?
Reheat.
Cold pizza is like looking in to the eyes of God and him shaking his head in disgust. |
If you must re-heat, use a regular oven or toaster oven.
Do NOT microwave leftover pizza. It's better cold than nuked. |
I nuke it for about 45 seconds to soften up the cheese.. Still generally cold
Eat one slice cold while waiting for the other to reheat.
That's what I did about an hour ago. |

Never eaten a piece of cold pizza in my life. Ain't starting now. Especially not for breakfast. Bacon FTW!
Cold pizza, OJ and Aspirin at 2:00PM on a Saturday is the breakfast of champions.

Cold pizza is the only option if you're drinkin' and druggin' and watchin' tv.

Cold is best, but if you feel the need for something hot to start the day:
Pierce the pizza all over with a fork. Sprinkle some water over it, and let it soak it up. Squirt some ketchup on top and spread it in. Grate some extra cheese on top. Microwave. |
Cold.
Actually, the best way is room temperature (ie left out on the counter all night).
Sometimes cold, sometimes microwaved, and sometimes toaster ovened.....depending on mood. I've had three day old stale pizza that had been sitting out.....like a cheesy cracker with all the fix'ins.

I buy pizza with the express intention of not eating it until the next morning...

I reheat it on a sheet pan in the oven, makes the crust crispy.
Nothing like a nice cold pizza and a glass of milk to start the day.
I can eat it anyway, but sometimes I like to microwave it for just about 30 seconds or so. It's still cold, but just the smallest amount of the top layer of cheese starts to melt.

Pizza places should start to sell day old cold pizza. They would make a fortune!
Warmed up pizza for breakfast. Its what I am having right now! |
Quoted: I actually have a fridge that works, so not Lucas. And, a nice warm Guiness from the Lucas Fridge too..... We do have our beer here chilled, the Lager most importantly, but traditional Ales are at their best somewhat closer to room temperature than frosty. |
Mmmmm Cold left over pizza in the morning with a glass of cold milk for me.

Cold pizza and warm beer. Those were the days. Jane What's with the "were" statement? |

Breakfast of champions! I nuke it or eat it cold depending on my inclination at the time.
