No it's potato rolled out like a tortilla. Rolled with Butter and sugar. Awesome. Cooked on a flat griddle.

Love it with butter, butter & sugar, peanut butter, meat rolled up in it. Homemade is the only way.

Never heard of this before. Looked up a number of receipes and it seems to be a kind of potato flat bread, right. Sound good, will have to make some soon. Thanks for posting.

I'll be having my share also. Ate it like candy since I was a kid. Tried it with brown sugar last year, not bad either.

How do you know if you're from the upper midwest...

Lefse, Rosettes and Krumkake and necessities. I even have a Krumkake iron that my grandmother gave me. Thankfully, no one is making lutefiske.

Grandma made the best but the wife does a very good job.
We have it closer to Christmas. Its a PITA to make and takes
awhile to get a good batch because we eat it as it comes off the griddle.

I made a lefse flipper from a paint stirring stick. Works good.

I'm jealous, no lefse in my Thanksgiving outlook, sure wish there was. My Norwegian Grandmother made the best, but she's long gone now, gosh I miss her, and her cooking! Uff Da!
