I replied on the 'meetings' board, but let me know what date was settled on. Is it still Elliot DNR range?

What time will you be there? Maybe I can ride over! The folks at Charlie Elliot are all class acts! It's a great place for the family as well. Lots to do...great fishing, awesome nature center, and hiking trails! |

I normally like to get there by 10 a.m. I'm going to go ahead and fire off some e-mails to the guys that aren't members and let them know we are going to go ahead and go through with it. One guy is a Vietnam Vet that speaks highly of the AR15, but the others have never shot one and none own one. Hopefully we'll bring some new members to the board, or at the very least enjoy a day out on the range![:)] |

I don't have a calendar, and on top of that I'm lazy. What days do those dates fall on? If it's on a sunday or monday, consider me there. It sounds like 3 or 4 hours from here. Not to far to shoot! I'll hitch a ride with thebeerslayer.
I work for Summit Ammo, so I could bring some stuff also if need be. Balming |

Geez... AW went out to CE last saturday and you're going out two saturdays from now. Too bad I can only make it this saturday (20'th)

DETAILED directions oriented from I17/85 just north of I20..... ----------Charlie Elliot---------- Weather Report for Charlie Elliot..... http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USGA0351 From 10'th/14'th Merge onto I-75 S. go 2.5 miles Merge onto I-20 EAST RAMP. go 0.8 miles Merge onto I-20 E. go 40.1 miles Take the GA-11 exit, exit number 98, towards MONROE/MONTICELLO. Go South (turn RIGHT off the exit) onto GA-11, Proceed to Mansfield go 7.7 miles to train tracks PAY ATTENTION TO THE SPEED LIMIT SIGNS AS YOU ENTER AND LEAVE THE TOWN From the train tracks in the middle of town you will travel 2.7 miles to a sign for Charlie Elliot WMA. Turn left onto Marben Farms road, and the range is 1.4 miles down the road, on the left. The paved road will turn into a dirt road just before the range. |
