Nice Airsoft
Sweet!

For a second the #4 pic had me wondering "why does he have a flash suppressor on his HK pistol???"  D'oh!

Especially with a suppressor.

Any plans for that?

It has been done.  Ever seen a USP tac with a Vortex suppressor?

If and when I finally get one, it'll definately be getting a suppressor. I held one at the gunshop that did my last FFL transfer and it did not seem like the boat anchor some people make them out to be. Of course, it was unloaded, but still...

USP Tacticals suck.  I should know, I've had mine for a few years now, it has more than 5,000 rounds through it, it still shoots more accurately from a bench than a SAR-1 rifle, and it still looks like this:

It sucks because I like it so much I had to buy a matching USP9F for my wife for HER home defense gun!  Dammit!

Even when loaded I dare say it is lighter than an unloaded 1911.... this may be stretching it.

Duke.... trust me, after Monday some 12 rounders with the extended floorplate are going to be bought.  They are what is supposed to come with the Tac and I have no idea why there were none with this one.

EDIT:  I just looked it up and the Tac is around .10 lbs lighter than a 1911.  So, both of them loaded, they are about the same weight.

And, suckily enough for you Duke, we live in a non-suppressor state.....rrrrrr......

I'd have one if I could get a can...

Duke, what are the specs on the lights on those pistols?

But look at it this way Duke...now you can borrow her USP whenever you feel like doing a Chow Yun Fat/Max Payne 2 pistols at once bit.

Ok, the one on the wife's 9mm pistol is the HK UTL light.  This is the light that started the whole tactical light on a pistol craze when the USP was first introduced.  Its rated at 90 lumens.  Costs around $200 new, I found one used for $150 from a friend.  Attaches to the USP series with no adapter.  Has "momentary" and "constant on" settings.  I've found it handy to train using the "constant on" setting and just flipping it on and off.  If you try to use the momentary and have to shoot, your grip will be less than ideal and the recoil will probably take your hand off the switch, turning your light off when you need to be using it to aim your next shot!

The one on my Tactical is a Surefire "Nitrolon" that I got for $125 used from a seller on HKPRO.com.  Its also around $200 new.  There is no "momentary" feature, the light is either on or off.  It uses the standard picatinny rail system made popular by Glock and shared by many other platforms.  I have a streamlight mount on my Beretta Elite II that it fits nicely on (looks badass too!) and it will fit on any picatinny/1913 rail you might have handy on a rifle, such as a RIS or SIR system on an AR15.  It just slides right on.  It needs a somewhat clunky adapter to fit on the USP, fortunately the seller had mounted his on a USP45 as well.  It is rated at only 65 lumens, but for $25 you can buy a super-bright 120 lumen lightbulb for it.  The 120 lumen lightbulb has a service life of only 20 minutes!  In my experience 65 lumens is more than enough to temporarily blind an opponent even when there is ambient light present.  Keeping the batteries fresh is important.  Yes I've had the wife test it on me (not attached to the gun!) at various ranges and lighting conditions, and it will make you see spots big time!

EDIT:  RiffRandall--

Max Payne always uses dual Berettas.  Anyway, shooting duals with different calibers really screws up whatever point-shooting aiming skill I actually have left.  Insert gratuitous nerdy pic HERE:

Classy B&W, fingers off triggers <golf clap>  I like your old "FBI" pic with the big Smith & Wesson handcannon better though.
I've only tried the dual pistol bit a few times, using .44 cap & ball 1858 Remingtons (hey, I am from western MO, home of Bloody Bill Anderson, James-Younger gang, etc..) but couldn't hit a damn thing.  Other than the Remingtons I don't have anything even close to being suitable for duals.

Man you folks got so much HK gear it is incredible. I've only got a HK USP Expert to my name, and if I want more, I probably have to sell a kidney.

I wouldn't turn loose of that kidney just yet-- if you could have only one pistol, HK or not, an Expert would be one of the best choices you could go with IMHO.

My uncle took them with his Olympus C-8080 8-megapixel digital.  These pics are NOTHING compared to some of the stuff he can do with that camera.
