I use ammo cans for all storage of ammo. The ss109 surplus ammo, I keep on stripper clips, in bandoleers, in the ammo cans. I also have Federal American Eagle on the red strips. Since this is my range ammo, I leave it on the red strips, put take it out the boxes and keep it in an ammo can as well. I can store about 500 rounds per can of this stuff using this method. Cheers...

Keep it dry, in moderate temperatures, and in original packaging. Leaving it loose can damage the tips.

I "rotate" my stock, and always keep plenty on hand.

I keep mine in ammo cans then put them in a Coleman cooler (old metal type). It has worked for me for years.
