get to a terminal propt. CMD, terminal or what ever your OS calls it..

and put this in.. for windows guys you can..

start>run then enter the following..

telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl

hit enter and

Enjoy!

is this safe, or all a big joke? im not a programming whiz, but i keep thinking about sys32 being deleted...

Edit: i tried it and it didnt work. i dont remember enough about cmd to get it running

If you're running Vista or 7 you have to enable telnet from the factory config.

That reminds me of the telnet weather servers and the telnet news feed that CNN used to provide.  I built a ticker for both that ran on my linux and solaris desktops at a job I had years and years ago.  Back when semi-transparent rxvt windows were the height of geek cool.

Go to start>accessories>run

Type in "telnet" and hit enter

Once telnet opens, type the letter "o"

type "towel.blinkenlights.nl"
