I'm watching Rushmore, and they re-create the brief scene from Heat where Val Kilmer buys dynamite with a fake ID.  They use the same dialogue and he walks away with the explosives on his shoulder, just like Kilmer did. I never noticed that before.  Funny

I didn't really think of that as a Heat homage, that's pretty much how I've always seen people trying to be tough construction workers carry crates. But it is an interesting parallel you drew there.

Yeah but doesn't the kid sayshe will send the bill to Tack's Demolition Tuscan AZ.

I have not watched Rushmore in a few years, but I remember laughing at the scene where he buys the explosives.

He holds up his ID like and recites the same lines, it's totally drawn from Heat.
