Trying to decide.
I have a complete AR10 lower and the M1A Scout. I can keep the scout and sell the lower or sell the M1a to build out the AR10. |

LOL...how is this seriously a question.
One is cutting edge, one is a fucking relic. One is made by arguably the best gun company around, the other is made by the biggest fudd faggots imaginable. |

Silly question IMO. |

I like M14 pattern guns. Probably my favorite of the old battle rifles.
But I would definitely prefer a LMT 308. |

LMT hands down. I have 2 M1A and I do have a soft spot for them as historical pieces but if you can only have one, the LMT all day long. Modular, versatile, usable, optics, ergo dynamics, accessories, maintenance, etc. the advantage of the LMT are huge.

Here is a video on two completely DIFFERENT brand of guns, nothjj like those in your pole, except:
- they are kinda like the guns in your pole. You decide, after watching this: KAC M110 SASS: The end of the M14 (SR25/ AR10 vs M21 sniper accuracy review) Don’t waste your time with an M1A based system. |

LMT MWS. If I could do it all over again, I'd have picked one of the MLOK setups up ages ago, instead of a few of the other rifles I have.

If you want an M14 derivative, buy a James River or something else. Anything other than SA. |

What’s funny is people here think that he’s going to end up with an entirely LMT rifle. I don’t see that happening entirely unless he wants to spend a chunk of money to do it even selling the M1A likely won’t do it. It’s a fucking lower receiver. Not a complete factory gun as well. Not to say home builds can’t be amazing and great. But it isn’t a factory LMT rifle.
Keep the M1A. It will serve you well. If you want to turn it into a full match m1A send it to Springfield and they will convert it for about $400 |

LMT and it’s not even close. I own both. Actually I own two M1A’s. But would I choose either over an MWS? lol

I need a barrel, an upper and charging handle. I paid 400.00 for the complete lower about 5 months ago. so all in I'll be around 2200.00 I can only justify 1 expensive to me .308 platform. I have 2 LMT 5.56 MRP's I'm just not as versed in the .308 world.Thx |

I love my LRB M14 clone. It's my go to deer rifle. Just a fun, historically relevant rifle.
That said, if it's a choice, I'm keeping my MWS all day long and twice on Sunday. Attached File |

I really enjoyed the m1a un scoped
it was just entirely ackward scoped to me def voted for the LMT |

If you like MRPs, it's especially a no brainer. |

If you play the odds your carry is gun is 1000x more likely to be used against a 2 legged creature than any rifle. And if it is a rifle you'd be better served by an AR15. Therefore its a fun gun, in which case m1a's are a ton of fun for everything but benchrest. They can be benchrest rifles but its a square peg in a round hole.

I love, absolutely love M1As.
In this instance I'd take the LMT. |

I think M1a scouts are sexy AF. That’s why I spent a small fortune building one, but let’s be real.
LMT all day every day. Or any quality AR10 for that mater. Just like I think an FE block ‘65 Ford Galaxy is a pretty spiffy ride, and wish I had one those too. Just not as a daily driver. |

I own an M1A (down from 3) and an LMT MWS. I absolutely love the M1A but if I had to choose it would be the LMT. |

You need both but I voted with the majority to pick the right one if there was only one.
Both are fine weapons but to me the AR's ergonomics work better. |

AR10 is superior and far more accurate. I've owned CETME ,M1A , FN FAL , Saiga , Yugo/Serb M77 and PTR 91 they are all decent rifles in 7.62x51 but the AR10 beats them in accuracy and Modularity. I love my AR 10 .??????
