During a felony pursuit, and permission has been given to take the suspect out,(be it spike belt, or fish-hooking maneuver) My question is. If the suspect's vehicle has lost tire pressure(blowout) in the right rear tire, which side of the vehicle is rammed to fish hook the vehicle. The left or the right. Which approach would spin the vehicle easiest? Or would it even matter. Another question is what procedures or events lead to the forcible end of a pursuit? The criminal breaks more than one felony during the pursuit, or puts someone's life(including the officer's) life directly on the line? Thank you, Jason

Jason: Don't worry about ramming the car. Just shoot the driver and the car will crash by itself. [;D] Ed
