Gouchang
Brown sugar
Fresh grated ginger
Minced garlic
Soy sauce
Sesame seeds
Sesame oil
Black pepper
Mirin
Rice wine vinegar
Red pepper flakesGreen onion

This is the sweet, fermented nectar of the red pepper that you want from your local Asian Market.

Mix in a teaspoon of sugar, some cut up onion (white and green), and a touch of sesame oil to thin it down and it's the condiment of da gawds.

Korean/Mexican tacos made with bulgogi and soft flour taco's are mouth wateringly good.


My staple though is, bulgogi on a bed of rice wrapped in a red lettuce leaf.  If you're not a glutton like me you an make it bite-sized.  Mine are usually two or three bites per serving.

looks fantastic!
Is it spicy?  Wife and I enjoy spicy, kids like shrimp but can't do spicy.
