Are they really all that? I know most of the racers use them, but are they that much better than say a KYB AGX Sport shock? Reason I ask is because I can do all 4 corners of my '96 Trans-Am with new Koni Sport shocks for about $520 + installation. Should I do it? MJD

Which Koni shock? They make a whole mess of different ones.

The yellow "Sport" shocks. The single adjustable ones that can only adjust damper. Jegs sells them for $247.99 for each front shock/strut. MJD

Koni yellows rock. Check the v6performance.net forums and ask around.

I have the yellow adjustable konis. They are awesome, you should get the adjustable dampening.

The adjustable Koni struts and shocks for the Omni and charger are the only proven setup for performance. They stomp the KYBs. YMMV.

I have had some koni yellows with eibach springs on my S2000 for about 2 years. I have not had any problems.

Koni adjustables were OEM on Neon ACR autocross cars, and in that application are very, very good at making the car run on rails (along with modest front/rear sway bars).

I drive an F-Mod car in autocross (think small indy car) and every F-body driver I know; especially the nationally competive guys swear by konis. They are the best aftermaket damper made outside the remote reservoir stuff.
