Well age and abuse to the body is starting to catch up to me....I'm having knee surgery later today to repair a torn medicus (sp?) in my right knee. 7 to 10 days off work and no work-outs for at least that long that involve standing or any heavy loads. Guess I'll get a chance to work on my seated, upper body lifts...LOL. See y'all soon.

7-10 days off? Damn, you must spend all day on your feet. Last time I had knee surgery I had a bilateral meniscusectomy (sp?), and went shopping that afternoon. [;)] 1 open knee surgery so far, 4 arthroscopic, and I keep putting off the cadaver transplant I need for the blown ACL in my left knee. Gotta love those joints!

DavidC - Yep, I do. 12 hour shifts and walk approximately 6 or more miles a shift. Just back from the hospital, surgery went well but there were some unexpected fissures discovered. I'll know further after the first post-op next week. Y'all take care.

Glad to hear that the surgery went well. Stick with the rehab/physical therapy, and you'll be back on your feet in no time.

Rabbit9, Thanks and not to worry about the phys therapy. I have no choice but to stick with it....the physical theapist, my surgeon and one of the surgery nurses all work out at the same gym and often at the same times I do. They'll make my life miserable if I don't comply!!! [:)]
