We adopted a chihuahua from a local Rescue about 8 months ago.  Found out about a month ago she had Luxating patellas (slipping knee caps).  We took her in for surgery on her right knee 2 weeks ago this coming Tues (May 3rd).  We were really expecting her to be lamed up and in alot of pain.  2 weeks later we have a hard time keep her from running!  We take her in tomorrow to get her stitches out.  We had a physical therapist examine her on thursday and said that she is about a week and a half ahead in her recovery.

Here's a few pics:

Good to hear the pup is coming along!  Luxated patellas can be awfully painful, the first time I saw a dog with one, I figured that the leg had to be broken to hurt like that.
