It's a joke. Probably started when some guy's kitten tried crawling in a glass jar and he thought it was funny.
However, it didn't stop some nutcases on glocktalk from saying they'd like to kill the guy who did it. |

This site has been around for a while now. They were even harassed by PETA and other "animal rights" activists. They had to jump from one web host to another. I guess they finally found one that wouldn't put up with the harassment.

That's just sick, and all y'all that thought it was funny are sick. Cats are people too ya know. Cruelty to animals is one thing people around here won't tolerate. Spoof or no spoof, that's just plain wrong. That crap shouldn't be on the internet in the first place. I've had 15 or so cats die because of a bunch of dipshits that go 75 on a 35 and that don't stop when they hit the poor kitty. I ever catch someone around here messin with that kind of stuff and they'll have a 9mm lead tip sittin between their eyes. Half of the time the drivers will swerve to hit them, much less not. Puttin a cat in a friggin jar, is sick damn it. I've seen alot of things in jars, and the two that bothered me were and are babies, and animals. Geez almighty.

Good on ya Moses!! Anyone who tortures any animal should have their balls cut off.
A while back seen two kids (about 16-18) trying to push a german shepard into traffic (and almost succeeding), and I stopped and chased them, caught one. He spit in my face, and lets say I 'made him feel very sorry'for what he did. I am sure he will remember me for some time, and hopefully his nose will heal. |

We had to block the site at our proxy a few weeks ago, heard from the lotus notes boys in the other building that there was a chain letter with embedded pictures (loading from the website) going around all the chocolate-eating cat ladies (and we have a lot of them, 3 call centers so just imagine) the note was all about "petitions" and "grass roots" and "shut them down" and "cruelty" some things just make work fun. I may just have to go searching for something cruel and shocking but discernably fake...to a man anyway, and write a chain letter of my own I'm bored.

Uhhm, my family comes from Kentucky and I have seen the womenfolk can many different things but I can't remember them ever canning babies or animals. Canned 'Possum or canned infant doesn't sound very appetizing. Ever ate any canned groundhog? I've heard young 'hogs aren't too bad. Is this animal and baby canning something local to Tenn? I just got into an argument with my wife over this dumb cat after showing it to my son. Niether of them found it humorous as I did. I always had a cat when I was a kid, but I did mean things to them so my mother kept taking them away from me. Now I have cat(S) in the house for my two kids, but I really can't live with animals and share my persona; space with them. Besides my landlord charges us a deposit of $300 per cat, just in case of any damage to the apartment. That really sucks. Now if they were Bonzai cats, I would not have to pay.[:D]
