When I leave my keyboard flat, I can usually type faster and with fewer mistakes. However it is less comfortable, especially for games where my hands will rest over the W-A-S-D area constantly. For these situations I will raise the keyboard stilt things to raise it and tilt it up. This also makes reaching the number and function key rows easier, which are more often accessed in games as well. So how do you use your keyboard?

Flat, unless you've got really limp wrists, it's easier on the soup bones.

Zombies die better when your keyboard is FLAT.

If you want to protect your wrists from going fubar in a few years the joints need to be kept in a neutral position. This usually means your keyboard and mouse should be  pointing slightly down.
