Damn, 15 or so dirtbags in my neck-of-the woods (and no, I am not one of them)

I thought these jackasses were more scarce than this...

I remember when he was arrested, wasn't that long ago.

I would have thought he'd be incarcerated still.

Yea, I look from time to time. Scary how close they get to your home, everyone should look at this.
A few months ago I found a guy that got fired from my work on the map, had his picture even. Makes you think twice about people.

Found a few that are relatively local. Two of them live within a block of a school, both convicted of crimes against children.

they're everywhere.

the most important thing is to know who your children are hanging around.

in my area, there was a case recently where a girl went to her friend's house for a sleepover, and ended up getting molested by her friend's father....

you can't trust anyone these days. sadly, not even relatives. most sexual abusers of children are related to their victims

There is a guy about 3 miles from me that has been convicted of having kiddie porn. I work in his neighborhood about once a week. His house has a view of the Arkansas river and cost a million plus.

you're pretty lucky if that's the nearest sex offender to you....

the guy who i mentioned who was convicted of molestation lives about 300 yards from my front door...

When I lived in Jonesboro and had 2 kids in the house we had one that lived a block over and about 40 within 5 miles. Who woulda thought Little Rock, the movie that's had 2 HBO specials on it's gang violence would be safer for kids

I checked my childhood home and there's a child rapist living across the street and two doors down now.

My current neighborhood is clear for three blocks - an island in the middle of the rest of the city which is covered with squares. The lower income areas have a higher pervert population but the squares are every where. The city next door to mine is about 100% better but is more white collar vice my blue collar area.

If one of these perverts runs across my adopted nieces it's going to be a life changing event for the pervert. I promise.

While I have checked the state registries before, this format was easy, too easy. I put in my address and started clicking the spots closest to me. 4th closest spot was a young man who had played in my house with my daughter since she was in third grade, they parted ways different schools in 8th grade and he would show up as interested stalker a couple times a year trying to rekindle interest from my daughter. Anyway he did something to a girl age 14-17 evidently recently cause the picture looks just like him last spring when he last stalked our house.

I checked the site, found a Convicted Rapist living a Quarter Mile a way from my home.
The site had his picture and address.

I decided to do a little recon to see if the Info was at least Accurate.

Last night I did a drive by made a note of the Truck parked outside of the fella's Home,
(it had a very nice custom paint job which made it unique and easy to identify).

Today I decide to do another drive by, and as I was making a turn onto a street in his neighborhood.

AND I END UP PASSING HIM DRIVING THE OTHER WAY IN THE TRUCK I SAW LAST NIGHT!

As far as I'm concerned, the site is legit, how up to date the information is, and
accuracy of the specific convictions is anybody's guess.

But I did see the Dude Matching the Picture of the Rapist to a T driving that Truck.

I am no more or less concerned for the safety of myself or my family after reading this. After all, we've probably crossed paths with hundereds of offenders in the mall. It is what it is.

I have reviewed our local sherriff's site on the sex offenders, and was SHOCKED to see several people I knew in it.....among them, a kid who works at my butcher shop where I often buy meat in large quantity, my wife's ex boyfriend, and ONE OF MY STEP BROTHERS.....man, that one floored me.....ya just never know......and by the way, NONE OF THESE FREAKIN CREEPS IS EVER NEAR MY KIDS.......

Maybe instead of fighting the drug war we should use the money and resources to catch, prosecute and lock these people up permanently. Why are we so permissive of this kind of offence and so draconian with regard to non violent drug offenders? How can you even compare the two? It’s totally unacceptable we release these people.
