I have DSL now for internet stuff. A local company in the area wants to come here and put
in what could be described as a wifi network for online connections. They say it will be faster

for us . Everywhere else they are upgrading to fiber optic, but not for my town. We get

the wifi. What are the expectations on this? I have a feeling I should stay DSL.

We had point to point wifi when we were rural. It sucked donkey balls most of the time.

I'd stick with DSL. That's what we have now, and while it's not as good as fiber, it's way better than wireless was.

That was what I was thinking. They claim it is too expensive to run lines in our little town.

Wired is ALWAYS better than wireless.
