Just imagine being able to get all the good stuff! Tigrs, SVDs, AK-100 series... |

Well, I will get an American made garbage can for an American made Garbage gun.

How is this the first we're hearing about this?
And from Facebook? Yikes. This has potential, and I'm looking forward to it. |

Found via a Reddit thread, came out at SHOT Show, I guess:

I want to see an official press release, but I'm otherwise excited.

From the Facebook comments:
If this happens Century and Arsenal will shit their pants. View Quote It would be cool to see 9x39 take off here. |
That is some good news, I look forward to an AK-108 and AK-12!
Will need cold hammer forged barrel.
I could see them being comparable to Arsenal in price though. |
BOOM!
That's a BOMB dropped. Good thing I'm not expecting to buy an AK until 2016. I hope they get their production going by then so I can see some good reviews hopefully. |

From the Facebook comments: If this happens Century and Arsenal will shit their pants. I don't think they'll be too worried. Arsenal has a lock on the Bulgarian rifles, which are arguably better than the Russian AK's and some people will just prefer them to a Russian. Century will very likely keep their prices lower and sell to the people who won't buy a more expensive AK. |

[In Russian accent] sanctions, we don't need no sanctions [in Russian accent]

Love me some free market. Jug-ear says no imports, fine, they'll just make them here. Problem solved.
I will sell some shit to get a legit AK-101/102 5.56 AK made in USA.
Missed out on the SLR-106 sales a few years back. |
Screw Obama and his BS sanctions that don't do a damn thing to help the Ukraine.
The only reason Obama banned import of Russian arms is, because his administration saw a chance to screw US gun owners. |
I will gladly take the model.
That being said it will be interesting to see what becomes of this and of course the price. Who knows being made here might improve the accuracy of these things. |
Saiga 9? Yes Please!
I'd love to see a US made SVD and MP443 as well. |
Don'tcha just wish you had a time machine so you could send that picture back 50 years and make people on both sides of the Iron Curtain shit their pants?
Hmmm. That is an unexpected development.
I'll brush my mustache and give that booth babe a place to sit while we think this over.
If they bring Russian quality control with them, Century has nothing to worry about.

I'd say he helped usher in a whole new era of AK ownership in the US. Thanks Obama! |

From the pics I have seen, I'm not exactly getting my hopes up for anything magical in the near future.

ETA: Might as well use my double post for something....bad news.

The later two are pretty much indistinguishable in terms of quality. So i submit it is arguable. |

So who won? Communists or capitalists?
