I have not heard anything bad.
Do a google search for a review.
They are heavy. Like the real ones.

They look nice. But they're expensive.

I'd like one myself, actually.

I've shot one. They feel like the real deal. I like the horizontal fore grip.
They are kinda pricey, but they are up there on the CDI (chicks dig it) factor.

mines junk, sights fell off, over 500 rounds though it, and it still jams EVERY shot. Sent it back to the factory, and when I got it back, took it to the range, and the sights fell out again, and it still jams.

Save your money and find a good used West Hurley marked one. The Kahr ones are crap. Poor finish, poor quality, and sub-standard parts. I had a friend that bought one and the first 6 months it went back for THREE different problems, that should not have been a problem to begin with.

I had one for a while, then sold it. It never jammed, and was fairly accurate. It shot cheapo lead round nosed bullets with no problems. i bought a horizontal foregrip for it, as I hated the verticle grip! It was too akward! Use locktight on the screws of the rear sight base.

I may buy another one, asI can get the 50 round drum mag now! It was definately fun to shoot, but it was heavy gun, as it is made of milled steel and walnut.

Good guns ! My Khar runs great and is well made.

The rear sight screws will come loose but if you degrease the screws and holes with alchohol and then red loc-tite them they won't.
Even the much vaunted AO / West Hurely Tommy's have the same loose sight problem and can be worse if you have a riveted sight model. They will jam if you use anything but FMJ/round nose ammo and use bad magazines.

I think I want one...

The only problem I've seen with the Kahr models are that they are picky about which surplus mags will fit and work with them.
I have a pre-ban West Hurly that runs fine and will except any mag.
The finnish on this is about as nice as it can be.
Newer Kahrs are ok, you just have to dink with them a little.
Thompsons are lots of fun.
I look for the higher cap drums to start turning up pretty quick.

I had one and sold it because I had consistant feed problems. I would buy another if I knew the problems were fixed.

That's the old Kahr. They're under new managment. They had a right up a couple of years back, their simple 1911's are a great value and no longer poop. Google it up.

I don't think I'd trust a 12 post count account anyway giving such a bad review.

I want to get the short barrel version, the M1 SBR I think it's called - it's about the only class 3 firearm I could possibly afford

No knowledge on a 27, bought a Kahr M1 in Dec 01, problems were the buttstock loosened up so put an extra washer under the rear screw to tighten it up, rear sight screws fell out, fixed it with jb weld on threads. All fixed now, and I love my M1, wish I had a 1927. Oh yeah, gun show is this morning

I have a Kahr M1 the older one. It shots fine, the finish was not the best, I talked to a Kahr rpe at a convention 2 years ago. He was aware of the problem, and it was being addressed. As I have heard the new ones are much improved. As for mine, I fixed the finish, I also plan to refinish it and work on it.

Kahr has a couple ads in SGN this month and a SBR one would be too cool.

But a Vector UZI SBR would be more fun.
