The old man and I went out to the gunshow in Kansas City Saturday. First impression was... damn it was huge. The whole Sam's club building was full of tables. So we went from left to right throught the whole thing, taking note of good deals. After 3-4 hours, I realized there was WAY to much high priced antique stuff. New firearms and especially evil rifles were highly lacking. Only one beat up AK in the whole place! Even surplus bolt action rifles were scarce, unless they were "rare" and several thousand dollars. But, some old fellow had a big table full of great mag deals. AR-15 Orlites, little dirty, but great condition...$3.95 or 3/$10! Also, brand new, perfect AK-74 bakelites for $7.00! Picked up 500rds of Wolf 5.45 for $65 out the door and some stripper clips. Overall, great old war displays but it eventually got very old.
