Here's the kicker, though: according to KBR's contract at the time, the government is on the hook for any damages paid, and not the company.

What is an "anti anti-corrosive" ?? It sounds very corrosive to me...

I was part of a group that used free-to-us offices in what was discovered to be a hexavalent chromium-contaminated building for a few weeks. We had to track down every single damn temp we used during that time period and pay for a bunch of medical stuff for each one. Whenever we went back to the same facility after that, we rented office trailers rather than chance another exposure in another "free" building.
