OK so ATT sells off their ATT Wireless division to Cingular. Which Bellsouth has a controlling interest in. ATT says they want to concetrate on landlines and broadband.

You follow me so far.

So in doing that they start looking for other acquisition to expand on WiFi, Broandband, DSL and phone footprint. So who do they decide to merge with........Bellsouth.

So guess what???

They will end up owning controlling interest in Cingular, thereby owning ATT Wireless again.

So you sell off ATT wireless. Buy it back with extras.

So a year from now I bet you they spin off Cingular.

I have come to the conclusion that todays merger become tomorrows spin off. Yesterdays spin offs will become today merger. Or is it the other way around.

Anyway just thought I'd post this for shits and giggles.

Man you ain't kidding. One of my buddies in CA married a M&A lawyer. She worked lead on 3 M&A cases then took 2 yrs off sabatical(sp??) to have a baby. Now mind you this is after being with the firm for like 8yrs. My buddy told me she made close to 5Mil in her time with the firm. They have a home on Balboa Island in Newport Beach worth probably(by now) about 6mil I would guess.

How many people do you know personally made 5Mil in 8yrs time?? Not counting clients, I know one.

Now this chick is smart as hell. Pepperdine and Stanford grad. great looking. Well not after the baby, she plumped up a bit. Was gonna try for the sister, but her sister is dumbass. Got a degree from Pepperdine too, last I heard she is working at Macy's as a sales girl.

My temp gig right now is with a class action dept of a bank. You should see the paperwork we have to file for our clients. We have 3 lawyer and 6 paralegals on the payroll. 4 securities market "expert" (me included)

All these papers are created by bankruptcy lawyers, and the courts.
