Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Just talked to a guy who just got back from Iraq

 He did 14 months in the infantry as a machine gunner. He said everybody's M4's worked great. At one point his humvee was hit by an IED that took out the steering and caused them drive into canal. His M4 was submerged but worked great once he started shooting it. Two of his buddies were killed on that one.
