Yeah, that movie that is suppose to be the end of Firefly. I just watched it and man was it good. Really sad and disturbing though. Anyone else see it? is anyone planning on seeing it?

I'm going Fri. A friend of mine saw it last month and said it was one of the top 5 sci-fi movies ever.
I love firefly, it's a shame Fox cancelled it. I'm seeing it saturday and can't wait!
... An AZ HTF member just gave me two tickets for tomorrow (later today's) preview - tagged for a response later |
Im gonna go sometime friday and see it.
I think I feel a cold coming on(cough cough) |

i dont see how the can bring it back, after what they do in it. umm Kaylee.... you guys can have Inara. i will take the little engener any day. a chick that can buld a helicopter out of junk and keep that ship running while she has been gut shot. thats a real women. Ronald |

I'm going to a preview screening tonight.
According to one of the reviews I read, for contractual reasons there will be no return of the TV series, but according to a Universal Pictures spokesman, if Serenity grosses $80 million in its first two weeks there will probably be a sequel. If it grosses $80 million each of its first two weeks, there will definitely be a sequel. The movie only cost about $40 million to make. This looks GOOD! |
Yeah , and you can take her down to the engine room to get her fired up! |
Sounds like my kind of movie! |
shes a hotty, but not quite right in the brainpan. |
Yep, I have seen it and I will be going again Friday afternoon. ByteTheBullet (-: |
I'm taking all my employees to see it on Friday. The last movie I saw was iRobot (which was pretty good), but most movies made in the last 5 years or so have been awful; enough that I haven't had the desire to go see them.
I can tell you already that I will be seeing Serenity multiple times on the big screen. -Troy |
WOW, i wish i was one of your employees =) |
and kaylee |
...and made Zoe a southpaw. |
Kaylee is the important one...
as for Book well thats spolier info and i wont do it to the thread. you dont see him much in the movie. Ronald |
I'm seeing it tomorrow after work. Taking my father and brother to see it. It should be great.

FOX sucks almost as much as CBS in cancelling GOOD series, I'm STILL pissed about Fox Cancelling Alien Nation. (And, yes, Firefly). Fortunately, Buffy The Vampuire Slayer started out on the WB - if, IMO it had STARTED on Fox, it would have been axed 1st season. I plan on seeing Serenity, but might be a while. Glad to hear it's good though |
Excellent movie, I'd give it 2 AR15's up.
The end sucked... IMHO. sniff sniff. |
Just got back.
WOW, what a movie, best sci-fi I've seen in years. Fast pace, good story, and not afraid to take chances. Just keeps going and going and going.. And I was suprised the end was the way it was. |
Why oh why did Jayne say clips. Arrrg. At least later in the movie he redeems himself and says magazines.
Almost 100 people at the 2:05 showing. That is quite a few on an early afternoon. Hope it does extremely well at the box office. |
The ending perfectly fits the tone of the entire series - dark, sad, and yet faintly hopeful. It was magnificent. |
I just got back fom seeing it...it rocked!! I did cry like a little bitch though
i just saw it. LOVED IT! go out and see it.
it is an old fashioned good movie - great characters, action packed, funny, excellent dialog, up lifting plot - fun for the whole family you gotta support movies like this, so the studios will make more good movies instead of pieces of crap |
I am tagging this thread, though I won't read much until I see it tomorrow.
Agree with all of you. Yes it was sad in parts. My wife wanted the original opening music included, but she can't have everything. Went to the 5:00 show and it was almost full. The line for the 7:45 show was quite long also. I hope it does well.

Saw it- liked it. All the original cast and the character development of each is not quite what I expected. River's gung-fu is extra-ordinary! And that assassin fellow ain't no slouch either.
How badly do you need to watch the episodes again for continuity?
And why don't they believe in "C" cups? |
