Book was better. If one watches it without having read the book, one will miss a lot. Like Chris's exploits, what it means to slot or give someone "the good news", and the scrubbed first attempt. Sean Bean plays our hero, and does a good job, along with a cast of tossers who are no doubt familiar to regular BBC viewers. If one has read the book, one will probably want to see it.

I love Sean Beans acting. He is great in Sharpe ( I am reading the books now) as well in Patriot Games.

I wish he had the role of Aragorn in LOTR.

What is Bravo Two Zero? I have heard it mentioned here before but I do not know what it is about?

Details please?

This was a British made for TV special, it ia actually pretty good if you can figure out what the hell they are saying.
It would never make it in the US as a movie, since nobody ever poops in this country. It is an interesting story.

I always confuse Sean Bean with Rowan Atkinson, so when someone mentioned that Sean Bean is played Andy McNab, I thought some casting director at BBC must be not right in the head. Can you imagine Rowan Atkinson playing a SAS anything?
