Quick read. Liked it. Never read a William Johnstone book before. It was predictable, but the subject matter was interesting.

Some far fetched turns, annoying mistakes (.38 automatic handgun) and people "fly" through the air when hit with bullets.

Would make a great movie.

I picked up one of his books once and found the writing and plotline to be incredibly juvenile.

I have read almost all of his "Out of the ashes" series of books, after awhile they got repetative.

His books usually have a good plot but he isn't much of a writer, but it was still a good read.

Lets put it this way......it was better than anything I could watch on network or cable tv in the same amount of time.

The way he shits all over the ACLU was quite funny.

It would never be made as a movie - even more reason to like it.

What were those... Uzi's, they sure never jammed on Chuck in the movie and he put in a LOT of work with them!

William Johnstone also wrote a series called "The Last Ranger" under the pseudonym "Carig Sargent" IIRC.

Loved that shit when i was a kid.

ETA was the pseudonym of Jan Stacy...

I read it a few months ago.  It reads like the other books he writes; rather juvenile.

Interesting subject matter, but typical mediocre William Johnstone writing.
