They helpfully put up this site to assist in ID'ing the "evil" weapons.

The pictures below are samples of assault and hunting rifles that are of the caliber used in the shootings in Montgomery County Maryland. Below is only a sample and are not the only type that could have been used. Please, if you have any information about the use of any type of firearm used in criminal action call 911 or our tip line at 240-777-2600.

the third one is a Galil.
the cut out on the Ar is for the lever to extend it that is a very early collapseable stock.

So why can't the FBI (f##king bunch of idiots) in all their wisdom identify the firearm used by the rifling marks on the bullets?

if i were going to murder a bunch of people from 150yds away, i would choose the 10 inch m16 on the top.

ROTFLMFAO.....I could be mistaken...but If my memory serves me correctly...that AR15 is an AIRSOFT

At one time I was considering buying an Airsoft (just for sh*ts, and giggles) [i]until I found out it would be $600.00 the way I wanted it equipped
ANYWAY,...one of the websites I went to had one EXACTLY like that,  with the "cut out" on the butt plate and all.

Like I said,...I could be wrong...but that looks like the EXACT SAME picture.

It houses the locking latch for the prototype telestock used on the Colt Model 07 carbine, though the pictured weapon is indeed an airsoft weapon.

Yep, lack of a gas tube between the upper and the delta ring is a dead give away. The triggers on the airsofts always look a little funny to me too.

Good thing my AR is chambered in 5.56 and not 6mm. Didnt want my gun confused for a evil airsoft toy.

Well, the EXACT rifle on that picture is of an airsoft weapon, but there is the Colt Model 07 carbine which is identical to the picture here.

The 07 was the predecessor of the XM carbine variants.

Good details can be found on the 07 in The Black Rifle and Special Warfare, Special Weapons books.

It's a shame we can't get 190 round mags for our 223 super velocity, armor piercing, 6000 meter range, evil looking, barely legal... killing machines...Sounds to me the AWB effected the wrong crowd...do it for the children...

One thing I just noticed was that when I clicked on the image of the PSS at the bottom, the auto name that came up for it to be saved by was "788" I'm guessing these people think this is a Remington 788...which lucky for them can be found in 223....but I really think this is just another sign for how stupid this people really are..If you are going to call yourself a weapons expert, why not act like one...?
