Gotta be honest - not a terrible little workbench.  Fits perfectly in my apartment which is great.

My wife's bunny ate the reloading bench I made.  Hopefully this little number will be a decent enough reloading bench.

It's not made of carrots like your last one, is it?

$189 I think?  Not a bad gig really.  Has 4 power outlets on the side and comes with an overhead light as well.  I'll snap a pic in the morning.

Congrats on the bench, hopefully it's more rodent proof.

I'm building/rebuilding my reload bench. A very early 50's Youngstown
steel cabinet taken from my grandmothers house during renovation in the
late 60's and used by my dad as his reloading bench until about '89.
Going to refinish in period color(likely star white) and build a butcher block top for it.

I use one as a reloading bench myself. Two suggestions. Secure the top to the frame, it'll tip on ya under the leverage involved with most presses. Second, secure the whole thing to the wall somehow. It doesn't need much, but again, you're putting a lot of force on the very front edge of it. If you use a press that seats primers by pushing forward you have a similar problem going the other direction, but I haven't had it actually be an issue that way.

I got mine as a damaged box remnant of an older model back when I worked there, the damaged parts weren't vital so I just don't have drawers. It worked out nicely.

Here's a shitty picture I took with the wife unit's camera.  Didn't feel like busting out the DSLR.

My box didn't have the light brackets and I'm out of zip ties right now.  I'll zip tie it up and call it good.

ETA: And hell yes that's Hannah Montana wrapping paper in the bottom corner.  We bought my brother a shotgun for his 18th birthday and wrapped that sumbitch in Miley Cyrus wrapping paper.

Good call.

Gonna toss the press on it later tonight and see where we can go from there.

I'd like to see the damn bunny eat my metal bench...muahahahah

To add to this, replace the top with a better piece of wood, it'll pay off in the long run.

costco has one with a 2" thick laminated top for the same price. I bet that plywood top will make the powder dance right out of the shells

That would require me to be a member of Costco which I'm not

nice, only thing i can see is the edge being too close to the ram pivot on a press, so you might not be able to get a full stroke out of it.

i could be wrong, though

Doesn't seem like it from what I've mocked up.  We'll find out later tonight

It wouldn't work with the pair of rock chuckers i have, at full stroke, the pivot piece where the handle is mounted goes beyond the edge of the press.

I hope it worksout for ya! nice looking little work bench regardless

Find someone that is, and go try their house brand tortilla strips.
