And it will be added to my EDC.
It is a Minox monocular. Minox is a German optics company specializing in miniature cameras going back to WWII. They were bought by Leica at one time, but I think the ownership has since changed back to solely Minox. It is a monocular in 8 X 16, and it has awesome glass, plus it is very sturdy being housed in an all-metal case. It is also very small. Here is a pic.
