Accidentally, I just saw "High Noon", yet again.

Some of the acting is wooded; the lines predictable; and the storyline reminds me of Ibsen's "Enemy of the Poeople".

But for all that, it is a fucking great movie. No whiz-bang special efects and no 100% realism. Just one hell of a movie with a message that this particular old fart thinks we should all remember. And, if you ever saw Cooper in the part – you might never forget!

I just saw "The Big Heat", a 50's cop goes after gangsters movie starring Glenn Ford and Lee Marvin. I really like those old film noir pictures.

I haven't seen the remake but earlier I saw the original Ocean's 11. Very entertaining even without all of the current flashy SFX in movies today.
