Good Lord there was some money rolling through that event!

Cars my wife and I saw (in order of descending value):

- Porsche Carrera GT ($440k, silver)
- Rolls-Royce Phantom ($320k, one black and one gray)
- Lamborghini Murcielago ($282k, black)
- Bentley Arnage ($200k, black)
- Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG ($179k, black)
- Lamborghini Gallardo ($166k, yellow)
- Bentley Continental GT ($150k, silver)
- Maserati Quattroporte ($95k, silver)

Oh, and the boats were nice, too.

Along with plenty of 18-40' fishing/cruising boats for us mortals, there were several >150' "superyachts" on sale for as much as $50M. I think the largest one was almost 250'.

If only I'd brought my checkbook.

I've never been to the boat show. My ex g/f's father had a 158' Broward yacht. If you've never been on one, the inside of these boats are *stunning* compared to the exteriors. I'm talking marble, granite, stainless, gold plated everything. They even had slot machines to hold them over till they got to the Bahammas. The pulled a 41' boat behind to hop around once they got to their destination.

Yes, it's an amazing lifestyle some folks can afford to lead.
