And boy! Was it anything [i]but[/i] fun! [V]

First of all, it was far too crowded, but at most shows, that's not a huge deal. Well, it was at this one, because the aisles were only about 3 feet wide!

I saw plenty of good deals, though...such as the nicely used Colt SP1 for a measely 2 grand, or the Colt 20 round mags with zero finish for [i]only[/i] $40! Man, I shoulda bought a dozen for that price! [rolleyes]

The only thing I really saw that was worth buying were boxes of Federal GMM 168gr. .308 for $16.

So, for any of you in the Houston area, I recommend saving your cash and skipping on the Saxet show in Conroe.

Saxet generally sucks.

Stick to the High Caliber or the HGCA shows at the Reliant or GRB. They tend to attract a better class of vendors.

Sure, there are a lot of the same goofballs at all the shows, but I've always had better luck with them.

I love the gun show. Just got back from Conroe.
I saw 30 round mags like new 20.00, and lots of AK47s. 300rd battelpacks 39.00. The deals are there but you got to go early. Lots of ammo.
