If he did, they were not production cars. In fact what made the mini cooper S so quick was it's light weight, and handling, and the ability to toss them around the corners without losing speed.

You're close enough. Citroen 2CV Sahara. Actually stayed around for 9 years but was finally killed because the price was too much and sales were slow.

Actually the snail hint was huge considering the 2CV was called the "Tin Snail" because it was so darn slow.

Heh Heh, the 2VC was the Viet Cong version. Only one engine and the original rice burner.

I couldn't find anything about the model name.

Here is what happens when you are subjects of the Crown -
ttp://www.2cvtv.com/

They even write books about 2CV restoration!

The last US Citroen dealership I remember seeing was on Colfax Avenue in Denver, in 1975. At one time, the 2CV type was fairly common in the US, or common enough, anyway.

The only car I've ever seen that was worse was an indigneous Australian car built with a wood frame in the body and a fabric top, all straight out of the 20's and 30's - it was ugly and wobbled around loose as a goose from running on rough roads.
