The feared Kennedy Dynasty came to a screeching halt. It happened just a few days before my HS graduation.

I spent the 4th of July that year in Yosemite Park. Riots in the Valley that year.

I was in Chicago the following month.

Man o man, what a summer that was. 1968

How was your summer of 68'?

June 1968

Been in Vietnam for about seven months.  Don't remember too much about 1968.  It started off bad (especially the last of January) and got worse.  I think in June I was learning how to keep an M-16 clean during the rainy season.  I remember sometime in the early summer picking up a Russian made SKS from a dead friend of Jane Fonda and Bill Clinton.  First time I ever saw Russian writing.

Mine was pretty good.  I had just graduated from second grade and was attending summer day camp in a haze of youthful bliss and enlightenment. [8P]
