Gun control advocates want only the wealthy and connected to have a means of self-defense. Don't let them tell you any different.

Best of luck to her.

I think she is doing the right thing going to trial. This is the kind of shit that needs to stop.

I have seen the NRA post a few things about it so I hope she has got some good lawyers from them.

seems like a perfect opportunity for jury nullification to me.

She will be convicted and she will do time.  The NJ Judiciary will see to it.

We really should be giving this woman more support. Hers is probably one of the best cases we could ask for to fight idiotic carry laws.

Just a guess because I don't do criminal law, but I'm guessing this is a statutory violation.

In other words, "intent" isn't part of it.

Most crimes are intent+act = crime.

Statutory crimes are basically act = crime.  The most well known being statutory rape.

She's going down, I fear.

NRA News has been on this heavily.

How some of these people don't think to check the state laws before carrying is beyond me. Remember that lady who told the NYC cop she had a gun and wanted to store it or some such shit if it wasn't legal to carry. Apparently this woman did the same stupid thing. I guess they bought "The policeman is your friend."

See needs to use  article 4 sections 1 and 2 of the U.S. Constitution in her defense and appeal it as far as she can go.
